Following the September 18th incident at the BOE meeting, Assistant Superintendent Brad Lovell launched an investigation. Written accounts of many witnesses at the meeting as well as the full investigation report were obtained by a public records request.

Grievance filed by Ms Scrase
At the conclusion of the investigation, Superintendent Chad Lewis suspended Ms Scrase for 45 days. The BOE did not act to terminate Ms Scrase. Ms Scrase filed a grievance in response to the suspension. Read her reasons, in her own words, regarding her behavior.

Citizens for Sycamore PAC
In 2021, Danielle Scrase was key in forming this PAC. Its intent was to influence those elected to the Board of Education. In 2023, Citizens for Sycamore only endorsed Victor Harris. The PAC helped campaign for and solicit donations for several current BOE members.

Citizens for Sycamore PAC and Campaign Funding
Ms Scrase donated to several Board of Educaiton members campaign - both personal donations and via the PAC Citizens for Sycamore. This is not illegal. However, it does bring into question the appearance of Conflict of Interest and the ability for some BOE members to remain impartial.
